Nanny and I Meet Odie
If
you have read and enjoyed Nanny and I, the
first book in the Nanny series,
you will love this book.
| Nanny and I Meet Odie tells the story of a little girl who is
worried about her beloved wheelchair-bound grandmother who is having
trouble living alone. When she can't find an answer that will keep Nanny
out of the nursing home, she turns to the heavens. What an amazing lesson
the girl learns when she discovers the solution unfolding before her eyes.
The colorful illustrations show how a Black Labrador service dog named
Coyote (Odie for short) helps wheel-chair bound Nanny get around and
perform every day tasks that give her more independence. This interesting
story also describes how Odie and other service dogs are trained to help
people with many different kinds of disabilities. |
