Sylvi Peltier is the founder and owner of Sylables, a small company dedicated to creating artistic works that will entertain while also instilling family values within our children. Sylvi believes that it is very important that her message is never compromised. To make sure of this, Sylvi decided to take the unconventional route and self-publish.

Sylvi lives with her service dog in the Vermont countryside. Each of her books is written from her unique vantage point. Sylvi lives with disabilities that limit her movements and make her dependent on others for her every day needs. Like the Nanny in her books, Sylvi experiences life from a wheelchair. As a child, Sylvi had a unique relationtionship with her own disabled grandmother. Sylvi's writings are so believable because she has lived the roles of both the grandmother and the granddaughter who appear in the Nanny and I series.
